i bought a Eu-rail pass.

i bought tickets for the shows I wanted to absolutely see
1-Stockholm
1-Smaller German show
1-Berlin
1-Paris
1-Halloween-London

i brought a small backpack
with things mostly to trade

i lived on French Bread and nutella

i stayed in youth hostels wherever possible

in East Berlin I stayed with Squatters
who were living in a bombed out hotel.
(Still in Rubble from WW2)

i split a hotel like 10 ways in Amsterdam
where the streets did not feel safe overnight.
(And I am from NYC)

In Paris i stayed in a 4 story 'stairs only' hotel
on the top floor

The only real sacrifice i had to make was to sell my top jazz records down in Greenwich Village that hurt but
what's the line?

It is kinda interesting that even though Heads have their own style. (Tie-dye is timeless) I can still pick out some of the trappings of the late 89's and early 90's especially among the sisters and the way they were wearing their hair.
Anyway, it was a pretty small group of heads to start mostly just Cali lifers especially in Stockholm but by the time the tour got to London I ran into a whole bunch of East Coast regulars.
Musically, my expectations were way to high mainly due to the last night at MSG-90.
But looking back now the shows i saw were above average mainly thanks to the influence of Hornsby.
